Your household
Stop making one parent the relay
Sharing the load begins with both adults receiving the information—not one adult becoming exceptionally efficient at forwarding it to the other.

The hidden job is often the handoff
The email may take three minutes to read. The work around it lasts longer: notice the date, add it somewhere, tell your partner, remind them again, and answer “what time was that?” on Saturday morning.
Invite another adult
Invite them from your family settings. They should use their own sign-in rather than sharing yours. Once joined, information can enter the household from either adult instead of living in two private mental filing systems.
Shared information, personal delivery
Two adults can share the same family picture without wanting the same notifications. The goal is not identical behavior. It is equal access to what matters.
Change the household question
If the coach writes to one parent, that parent forwards it. If the dentist reminder goes to the other, they send it. This changes the question from “Did you tell me?” to “Is it in Smitty?”
A better first week
Do not begin with a household summit or full calendar migration. For one week, let both adults forward what reaches them and look at the same daily picture. Start by removing work. Add structure only where you need it.
