The address is private to your household

Every Smitty household receives a private forwarding address. Copy it and save it as a contact called Smitty. When a message arrives, your mail app can find Smitty the same way it finds any other contact.

Forward one email

Open the family email, choose Forward, enter your household’s Smitty address, keep the original subject and attachments intact, and send. You do not need to write an explanation when the message is clear.

This is for Leo.

Forward from any inbox

Your Smitty address works like an ordinary email address. Use it from Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail, and most school or activity systems with a forward option.

Let another adult forward too

Your partner does not need to send information through you. Once they join the household, they can use the same household address. The route into the family system should not run through one parent’s memory.

Manual forwarding is enough

You do not need to grant access to your entire inbox or build an elaborate mail rule before Smitty can help. Some families later automate trusted senders. Start with the habit that makes sense now.

Start with one thing you are already carrying.

Forward one real family message. Smitty will show you what it can take off your mind.
